Gallium
Gallium employees have done it again…
Since 2009 the employees of Gallium Visuals Systems Inc. have rallied around raising funds for The Ottawa Hospital. Their support has been felt throughout the Cancer Centre, the Centre for Innovative Cancer Research and most recently the Regenerative Medicine Program at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.
Their efforts have had a clear impact on the quality of patient care available and the calibre of groundbreaking research taking place in our community.

DNA Spinner: Allows researchers to purify genes that promote regeneration and healing. By studying these genes, researchers can learn how to develop new, more powerful therapies to combat diseases and help healthy cells regenerate.
Incubator: Researchers need to grow cells in the lab to test new treatments on them, and the incubator provides a warm sterile environment for growing cells in the lab. They can also use these cells to investigate new approaches for preventing and diagnosing diseases

“I would like to encourage you to consider donating
to this very worthy cause. Doctors like Dr. Bell who will
be working in the Centre for Innovative Cancer Research are
doing some amazing things, and the progress they make will
benefit not only the people of Ottawa, but potentially those
battling cancer everywhere. Your donation will help make their
jobs easier, and bring us closer to finding effective treatments
for cancer that could save countless lives.” Jason
