The Road Map to Running a Successful Workplace Campaign
In less than two months
a workplace campaign can be successfully conducted, resulting in
a lasting impact on our community's health care.
First steps
- Secure senior management support for a workplace campaign.
- Appoint a workplace coordinator.
Pre-Campaign
- Coordinator recruits volunteers.
- Volunteers set campaign goals and dates.
- Volunteers plan awareness events.
- Volunteers work with The Ottawa Hospital Foundation (TOHF) to
develop communication plans to:
- Educate and inspire employees about the
opportunities and benefits of supporting The Ottawa Hospital.
- Build enthusiasm for the campaign.
- Invite all to participate.
During campaign
- Launch one-week campaign blitz.
- Senior management provides leadership and visibility.
- Implement awareness events.
- Volunteers conduct a 100 per cent face to face ask with follow-up
as required.
- Communicate progress and results.
- Have fun and enjoy the team building.
Post-Campaign
- Final results and impact on community healthcare are communicated.
- Ongoing recognition by senior management and TOHF to celebrate:
- Philanthropy and
community.
- Dedication of
the campaign volunteers.
