On October 1, The Ottawa Hospital Foundation recognized the outstanding fundraising efforts of Taekwondo teacher Lionel Gibson and his students at the Orléans location of Tae E. Lee Taekwondo School. Mr. Gibson and his team raised more than $2,500 for lifesaving medical equipment at The Ottawa Hospital. Mr. Gibson raised the funds as part of the Loeb Fundrace for The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, held earlier this year during the Ottawa Race Weekend. Carl Martin, the Foundation’s Vice-President of Communications and Marketing (standing, second from right) presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Gibson (standing, fourth from right) and his team, and Grandmaster Tae Eun Lee (far right).
