On November 3, 2005, a group of social workers and volunteers from the Civic and General campuses were honoured for their fundraising efforts during the Ottawa Race Weekend. The Social Workers on the Run team has raised more than $5,200 for The Ottawa Hospital in the last two years. Carl Martin, Vice-President, Communications and Marketing, at The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, (centre) presented team captain Jette Haswell with a certificate of appreciation.
